Nā Moku ʻAupuni ʻO Koʻolau Huiorganized June 1996 as a non-profit organization to educate, perpetuate, serve and protect historical, spiritual, traditional, & environmental well being of Keʻanae/Wailuanui. Members are lineal descendants/current residents.
We are currently striving and working together as a community to restore and beautify the once known, “Camp Keanae” to what is now rightfully named, “Keanae Uka”. A community camp ground and events facility for hosting and providing resources to the people of Maui and our island visitors. The 9-acre property is nestled atop the breathtaking Keanae Peninsula with panoramic views of kalo patches, local farming and agriculture, East Maui Coastlines, as well as, the town’s famous, “Aunty Sandy’s Banana Bread” shop.
